In 2018, Sebastián created one of the very first generative art collections on Ethereum - CryptoArte - which later became his artist name. His artworks have been published across multiple platforms such as ArtBlocks (see "Fluiroso" and "Rotor"), StudioUno (featuring "Norte" and "Palabras"), and Foundation ("Ethereum Lovers"). Sebastián is also an entrepreneur and computer engineer. A formative memory for Sebastián was at the age of 6, when his father introduced him to the world of computing with a Commodore 128. With his father's guidance, they coded a program that played a J.S. Bach invention, igniting Sebastián's lifelong passion at the crossroads of art and computer science. Nature, physics, mathematics, and computer science frequently weave their way into his creations, serving as both inspiration and foundation. Born in Buenos Aires, Sebastián is a fusion of tech and art passion. Beyond his engineering pursuits, he completed classical piano studies at a conservatory during his formative years and has since evolved into composing and playing jazz and blues piano and guitar. Now residing in Austin, TX, he holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA) and is fluent in Spanish, French, and English.
