Aranda\Lasch is a studio located in New York City and Tucson, Arizona led by Benjamin Aranda, Joaquin Bonifaz, and Chris Lasch. They are dedicated to the creation of objects and environments in both material and digital languages. Their wide-ranging work, from generative software to physical architecture, reflects a critical engagement with making in an age of algorithmic tools. Their work is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and The Art Institute of Chicago, among other institutions. They have received the United States Artists Award, the Architecture League Emerging Voices Award, and recognition from the Graham Foundation. Aranda is an Associate Professor at The Cooper Union in New York City and Lasch is President of The School of Architecture in Arizona.
